Find your

Best run

adidas Running has some of the best running products currently being worn by some of the fastest runners in the world. Now more than ever, when a new world record is set, chances are, it’s done in adidas trainers.

But while world records are hugely impressive, they only really speak to a very specific profile of runner. Perhaps more than any other, running is a hugely personal sport. Whether you’re trying to get off the sofa and run your first 5k or looking to get your first sub 3 hour marathon, we’re all running our own race. With five running franchises to choose from (Adizero, Ultraboost, Supanova, FD4WD, and Adistar) the challenge on this brief was to elevate storytelling around each, and create a more consistent vision of our Running brand to consumers.

With each franchise already having a strong visual identity, we set about creating clear delineation in our creative treatment through casting, location and styling that spoke to the unique positioning of each running shoe. In addition to creating clear delineation between the franchises, our work also needed to fit together seamlessly as an overall series that felt unmistakably on brand for adidas.

Spread across stills and five 15 second films, our work went live globally across digital, retail and social channels for adidas. As Evergreen content, it will live far beyond the lifecycle of a traditional campaign. As Creative Director on this project I was very lucky to work alongside a brilliant team which is underlined by the quality of the work (Jack Mardle, Karen Cardy, Luca Cioni, Matt Moran and Chechu Pajares to name but a few).
